Cinephile No. 611 "Inferno"

Dan Brown's books and the movies based upon them are fast and answers come quickly. "Angels & Demons," "The Da Vinci Code," and now "Inferno" all focus on Robert Langdon and his robust knowledge of religious icons and symbology. Throughout all three films, we are rushed from one impossible puzzle to another with nothing more than Langdon's encyclopedic knowledge as our guide. For some, this frantic pace may be too much to handle. For me, it is addictive and smart. Now, I do exercise some suspension of disbelief, because Langdon rarely gets anything wrong, but beyond that, I find these movies to fun and worth watching. Now, I should warn you, I believe "Inferno" to be the worst of three films, but still worth the price of admission.

Be good to each other,
