The End Is Mine

The beginning may not be our choice. but the end is ours for the making. More often than not, circumstances beyond our control are thrust upon us. There, instances can come with the best of intentions or they can be menacing. We are left to choose the response. 

Our response leads us down a certain path. As you walk, I implore you to remove the shadows that darken your path. Attack them one at a time. Pick and choose your battles wisely. Seek the advice, wisdom and assistance of others. 

As you move forward, hope should guide your way. In our darkest times, we must never lose hope. To hope is to reveal our most human selves. No matter the pain we cannot lose our humanity. 

When chasing our dreams, we must walk in the footsteps of giants and flinch at the sight of mediocrity. This is my creed. I desire greatness. Not just for my own ego, but in the hopes of feeding my desire to help and get the most out of this life. When faced with the darkness, I remind myself to keep moving forward. 

You will be faced with moments of internal questions like: Why not just the dawn? Why must we also face the darkness? Appreciation. When we earn, we appreciate. Trials, tribulations and the darkness before the dawn provide an invaluable lesson. They also make the end so much sweeter.
