"Hail, Caesar!" is so bad, I wouldn't even show up to a theatre where it is playing for fear it has somehow tainted the other movies. Which is disappointing, because with the star power behind this film I had high hopes. Though, I don’t fault the cast for this film, because they didn’t have much to work with in regards to a script. Sitting here writing this review, I am not sure I can succinctly tell you the plot to the movie. Something about communists, old Hollywood, and actors coming to save the day. All I know is I left my downtown Seattle theatre confused, disappointed, and disconnected from the characters on the screen (which is vital for any movie to be good).
Be good to each other,
